OUR CHURCH
Living Word Church is a non-denominational, spirit-filled multi-cultural bible believing body of believers who is gathered together to glorify and uplift the name of Jesus and bring others to Christ. We assemble together to equip, impact, and empower believers to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and go into the world to make Disciples of Jesus Christ by teaching and living the Word of God. We stand on the word of God, found in Hebrews 4:12,"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Our mission is To lead all people from all backgrounds into a transforming relationship with the True and Living God through Jesus Christ by being witnesses of His Living Word, by prayerfully evangelizing to the lost, and preaching and teaching the Gospel of Christ which has the power to change lives. Our motto is, "Transformation begins and lives in you, Jesus was transformed into word into flesh, you can be transformed from flesh into word, Transformation lives in you." At Living Word Church, we seek to be a welcoming, loving church where we can not only seek the needs of the people in the local assembly, learning the word of God and fellowshipping together; we will seek the needs of the people outside the four walls and be a light in the community showing the love and grace of Christ. Jesus said," For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."Matthew 25:35 LWC has established an annual Turkey Trim Box provided for eligible families in the community around the Thanksgiving Holidays which includes a Turkey, vegetables, bread and pans to prepare the meal.
